After reading this, you can explain the three customer roles fiskaltrust uses and which content is relevant to each.

In this documentation and in its other material, fiskaltrust assigns products, features and content to three customer groups. This tells each reader which content is relevant to them.

PosCreator

PosCreators develop software, and in some cases hardware, for POS systems or cash registers.

• PosCreators integrate the fiskaltrust.Middleware into their software via the IPOS interface and have a high level of technical expertise.
• They usually distribute their products via PosDealers. A PosCreator that distributes its products itself holds both roles: PosCreator and PosDealer.
• Contact with PosOperators arises only in special projects or via PosDealers.

fiskaltrust focuses on documentation, integration support and products for this group, to form a development-focused partnership.

PosDealer

PosDealers are independent distributors who sell POS hardware and software to PosOperators.

• PosDealers are often system integrators who combine POS hardware, software and operational services into the products they offer.
• They resell POS systems from multiple PosCreators and support their customers in using them. Their expertise lies in sales, project management and customer service.
• They can add fiskaltrust add-on products, for example the carefree package, to their software bundles.

fiskaltrust focuses on simplifying rollouts for this group by providing services, tools, documentation and APIs.

PosOperator

PosOperators are the end users of POS systems: the businesses and persons who operate the POS system in shops, restaurants or hotels.

• PosOperators usually have no direct relationship with fiskaltrust. Their contact for sales and support is the PosDealer.
• The fiskaltrust.Middleware runs in the background, integrated into the POS software.
• When tax authorities or auditors request it, PosOperators provide the required data with the help of their PosDealer.
